Dr. Candy Singh brings over 35 years of expertise in K-12 and higher education to her role as an executive search consultant for superintendents. As a former superintendent, Dr. Singh was a highly effective turnaround leader, known for her ability to guide schools and districts through significant improvement efforts. Her deep understanding of the leadership skills required to transform struggling schools has made her a sought-after expert in identifying leaders who can navigate complex educational landscapes.

During her nearly 12-year tenure as a superintendent, Dr. Singh not only earned widespread respect for her visionary leadership and integrity but also established strong, collaborative relationships with governing board members. Her ability to work effectively with boards was key to her years of success in building consensus, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability within the district.

Dr. Singh’s impactful leadership has been recognized at both the state and national levels. She was honored as a finalist for the National Women in School Leadership Award from AASA and received the California Exemplary Woman in Education Award from the Association of California School Administrators. Beyond her contributions to K-12 education, Dr. Singh has held significant roles in higher education, including her current position as Professor of Leadership and Director of the Center for Educational Leadership at the University of La Verne.
