Mr. Michael Borchers joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2024.

Mike Borchers had a 29-year career with the Ludlow Independent School District serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, middle school principal, high school principal, and director of curriculum. He spent the last thirteen years as superintendent of the district prior to his retirement in 2024. He has served as the advocacy chair for the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents (KASS) and Northern Kentucky Education Council (NKCES). Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Northern Kentucky University, Master of Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and his Rank I Superintendency degree from Xavier University.

Mike was appointed to the Kentucky Board of Education in August of 2024. He also served on several state committees such as the Local Superintendent Advisory Council (LSAC) and the School Curriculum Assessment and Accountability Council (SCAAC). Mike is currently working with the KASS on a state funding focus group that will advise the legislator on future funding.
