Dr. Ehlers joined McPherson & Jacobson L.L.C. in 1998. He began his educational career as a mathematics/science teacher and coach at Ainsworth Community Schools, Ainsworth, NE, after having served two years as an officer in the US Army. Dr. Ehlers served as a secondary principal at Dodge High School, Dodge, NE, and at Ainsworth High School, prior to serving twenty-two years as Superintendent of Schools at Ainsworth. He retired from active service in public education in 1998.
Dr. Ehlers earned his Baccalaureate, Master's, Educational Specialist's, and Doctorate degrees from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
