Dr. Greg Rockhold is in his 26th year as an educational leader and joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2021. He served as an Elementary, Middle, and High School principal and superintendent.
Dr. Rockhold is an Eagle Scout and former US Marine. He attended Eastern New Mexico University, earning a BS and Master of Education. Dr. Rockhold’s Ph.D. is from Trinity SW.
He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), President – of the New Mexico Coalition of School Administrators, and Executive Director – of the New Mexico Association of Secondary School Principals. In addition, Dr. Rockhold has presented to US Department of Education staff and before US Senators and Representatives regarding public education issues.
One of his many accomplishments includes working with the Pueblo of Acoma Tribal Council (Acoma, NM) to bring their oral language – Keres – into course offerings at Laguna/Acoma Middle/Senior HS Foreign Language Credit. This language offering is New Mexico’s first school to do so.
His leadership style is governed by servant leadership and a transformational leadership model. In addition, Dr. Rockhold is others-minded and ensures that staff, students, and the community are served well.
