Dr. Michelle Hamilton

Dr. Michelle Hamilton joined McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2018.

Dr. Hamilton has thirty years of experience in public education. She recently retired from the position of area assistant superintendent and has served as an assistant principal, principal, and chief academic officer.

Dr. Hamilton has extended her professional growth by participating in the Harvard National Institute for Urban School Leaders, National Alliance of Black School Educators Aspiring Superintendent Institute, National Institute for School Leadership Instructor Certification Training, and the Millsaps Principal’s Institute. She has been a presenter for Southwest Mississippi Education Consortium, Jackson Public Schools’ Leadership Development Academy, and the Southern Minority Leadership Council’s regional conference.

Dr. Hamilton earned her bachelor and master’s degrees in education from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, and a doctoral degree in early childhood education from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi.
