Dr. PJ Ford Slack

Dr. PJ Ford Slack joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2021.

After 20 years in school leadership in Alaska and 42 years in education teaching and leadership she retired in 2017. Dr. Ford Slack has been the Director of Special Education for Alaska as well as Director of Teaching and Learning Support for all 54 districts. She was a superintendent for over 15 years. Her superintendent focus has been on small rural school districts.

Dr. Ford Slack received her Doctorate of Philosophy in International Leadership, Administration, and Management from the University of Oregon. Her Master Degrees were in Special Education and Curriculum and Instruction. She also has a School Business Officer certification from the University of St. Thomas as well as spending a summer at the Harvard Business School in a program for State Educational Leadership.
