Dr. Susan Vickers

Dr. Susan Vickers joined McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2021.

She served as a school superintendent at Stockbridge Valley Central Schools and with the Hunter-Tannersville Central School District before retiring after 31 years in public education.  Currently she is an adjunct professor with the St. John Fisher Doctoral Program and an adjunct with the Social Studies Education Program at the State University of New York at Cortland.

In 2016 she earned a Doctorate in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Dr. Vickers taught Social Studies in grades 7-12 for 14 years before entering the realm of administration. She served as the

Social Studies Department Chair, Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, Director of Secondary Curriculum, and school superintendent. During her time as a teacher and building level administrator she served on a curriculum audit team that worked with three public school districts in NYS (South Glens Falls CSD, McGraw CSD, and Skaneateles CSD).
