Mr. Daniel Moore

Mr. Daniel Moore joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2023.

Daniel Moore has over thirteen years’ experience as a school superintendent, and over 24 years as a school district administrator. Currently Mr. Moore is the Superintendent of Linden Unified School District, in Central California. He has served as the former superintendent of Banta Unified School District, Owen Valley Unified School District and Round Valley JESD. Mr. Moore has served as an Assistant Superintendent of Personnel, Students Services, and Special Education in various districts. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all cabinet positions of a school district. Mr. Moore has been a principal at all levels, including elementary, middle school, and high school. Before becoming an administrator, he taught grades 2nd thought 6th for Jurupa Unified School District.

In addition, Mr. Moore has served as in instructor in various programs. He was an Adjunct professor for Simpson University, in Redding, California for ten years teaching several courses including Personnel, Organizational Behavioral Management (Leadership Theory), as well as Human Resources. For several years, Mr. Moore taught the course “Personnel to the Chief Business Officer” for California Association of School Business Officer (CASBO)/University California Riverside. He has a passion of developing strong leaders in organizations.

Mr. Moore was born and raised in California and believes that education is the key to the prosperity of all students and families. By hiring the right leadership and support staff who focus on connecting with all students every day, school districts can grow and reach all children. Daniel and his wife Holly are avid travelers and enjoy supporting educational leaders around the world. Daniel has been a school consultant in Russia, Lebanon, and Israel. In his youth, Daniel lived in Bolivia, South America, serving in a faith-based peace corps supporting locals in both constructions, and teaching in an elementary school. Daniel has three children who are active in his life. His daughter Serina is a Spanish teacher in Southern California, and his son Robby teaches middle school in Central California, while his younger son is an engineer in Livermore, California. Daniel can also be found spending time with his grandchildren.
