Mr. Dennis Murray

Mr. Dennis Murray joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2014. He is retired as superintendent of the Perris Union High School District in Riverside County, California on February 1, 2007, concluding a 38 year career in California Public Schools, serving as a superintendent in a Unified (K-12) as well as a Union High School District for 18 of those years. He was inducted into the Riverside County Office of Education “Hall of Fame” in early May, 2007.

In addition to his experience as a California school superintendent, he concurrently spent 15 years as a Sheriff’s Deputy for San Bernardino County (CA). He has been able to utilize his combined administrative and law enforcement experience to assist public school districts in determining vulnerability assessments utilizing standardized school safety protocols.

His expertise and training in personnel assessment through background investigations in both respective roles has provided search processes with a high standard of candidate “vetting” when moving candidates forward toward possible employment.
