Mr. Mitch Walton joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2017. He enjoyed a 30 year career with the Sloan-Hendrix School District in Imboden, Arkansas serving as a social studies teacher (9 years), high school principal (16 years), and superintendent (5 years). After retiring in 2014, he worked for the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators as Director of Professional Development. During this time, he also served as executive director of the Arkansas elementary, middle level, and secondary principals associations. Mr. Walton became the Director of the Harding University – North Little Rock Professional Center and Assistant Professor in the College of Education in July 2017.
Mr. Walton completed the Associate of Arts degree from Crowley’s Ridge College in 1977. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Harding University in 1979. In 1985, he completed a Master of Science in Education degree in Secondary Administration from Arkansas State University and his District Administrator Certification in 1992.← Back to list of consultants
