Mrs. Sharla Anderson Johns

Mrs. Sharla (Shar) Anderson Johns joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2019.

Throughout her educational career Mrs. Johns has served students as a classroom teacher, site administrator, and central office administrator.  She recently retired as the Associate Superintendent for the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools in Grass Valley, California where she provided instructional leadership and guidance in the areas of curriculum and instruction, professional development, assessment, student growth, and state accountability requirements to the nine school districts and eight charter schools in the County.  Additionally, Mrs. Johns has experience assisting local districts in Superintendent searches and understands the importance for districts in finding and maintaining quality leadership with a “students first” focus.
