Barbara Pinsak is an accomplished education professional with extensive leadership experience spanning over two decades. She has served in various superintendent roles, including Interim Superintendent for Teaneck and Montclair, NJ Public Schools, and Superintendent of Teaneck Public Schools. In these roles, Barbara demonstrated a commitment to fostering student achievement and community engagement, developing strategic district goals, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. She prioritized open communication with parents, staff, and community stakeholders while collaborating with local leaders to strengthen school-community relationships. Her initiatives, such as “Sunday with the Superintendent,” showcased her dedication to transparency and inclusive leadership. She also played a key role in budget development, staff recruitment, and supervision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education across the districts. Earlier in her career, Barbara held positions as Assistant Superintendent, Middle and Elementary School Principal, and Supervisor of Instructional Technology, where she led curriculum innovations, technology integration, and professional development. She has been recognized for her contributions to education, including receiving the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year Award and other community honors. With a strong academic background that includes a B.A. in Education, an M.A. in Special Education, and advanced coursework in Educational Leadership, Barbara continued to influence education as an adjunct professor and advocate for programs that prepared students for the future.
