Goal Setting/Long Range Planning

This is the implementation of Board Operating Principle 6.

  • The consultants will assist the leadership team in identifying three to five goals which will become the focus of a long-range plan
  • Once the goals have been established, an implementation plan for the accomplishment of the identified goals will be developed
  • The implementation plan will include:
    • major objectives
    • specific tasks
    • timelines with target dates
    • needed resources,
    • individual or groups responsible for implementation
    • evaluation procedures
  • At the conclusion of the workshop, the leadership team will have identified long-range goals and have the majority of an implementation plan in place
