Dr. Michael Kozak joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2021.

Dr. Michael G. Kozak currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Educational Administration Program in the School of Education at Drexel University. In this role, Dr. Kozak teaches graduate students, of whom most are aspiring school principals or school superintendents, in the foundations of educational administration and leadership. Courses cover leadership, policy and development, action research, families and schools, finance, data evaluation and assessment, and coaching and collaborative leadership. Dr. Kozak also collaborates with university professors in the United States and Egypt in designing and improving the delivery of instruction to all students.

Prior to his role at Drexel University, Dr. Kozak served as a superintendent of schools, principal, curriculum supervisor, and teacher in urban, rural, and suburban school districts throughout New Jersey. In those roles, he mentored and coached numerous emerging school leaders in educational leadership and administration, innovative practices, STEM integration, digital leadership, educational law and legal mandates, organizational structures, policy development, special education, leading change, and collaborating with parents and community members to improve the learning environment for all students. Dr. Kozak is recognized for increasing student academic achievement, initiating student robotics teams, implementing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) into the curriculum, and securing internships and apprenticeships for high school students.
