Mr. Brad Baker

Mr. Brad Baker joined McPherson & Jacobson in 2023.

Mr. Baker’s educational career started in 1990. He has served students as a teacher, coach, athletic official, Principal, and Superintendent. He taught for nine years, was a PK-5 Elementary Principal for 13 years, served as a middle school Principal for 9 years, and currently is the Superintendent for Chariton CSD in Chariton, Iowa. Mr. Baker received his undergraduate degrees from Southwestern CC and Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. He then earned his Master’s degree in administration from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. In 2010, his passion for learning led him to complete his Educational Specialist degree from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Throughout his career, he has served on countless local, State, and National committees to help improve the lives and educational environment for ALL students and staff. He was a finalist for School Administrators of Iowa Principal of the Year in 2010 and 2011.
