Mr. James Kuchta

Mr. James Kuchta joined McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C. in 2023.

Mr. Kuchta retired from serving as an educator for 36 years in seven school districts across Wisconsin. He was recognized as the state and Midwest Regional Outstanding Young Educator in Ag. Ed. and received the Herb Kohl Fellowship Award.

Mr. Kuchta served as a building administrator for sixteen years. He served as District Administrator/Superintendent for eleven years. During that time, he led his school districts in passing both building and recurring operation referendums with 100% success rate. The schools in his districts were rated as Exceeds and Significantly Exceeds Expectations by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and more importantly, he led improvements in student achievement through innovative and intentional action plans with administrative teams and teachers. He also served as an adjunct professor at UW-La Crosse while in the superintendent role.

Mr. Kuchta received his B.S and M.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, his Educational Administration Certification from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his Ed. S. from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
